At The University of Alabama, excellence is more than a pursuit; it is our standard. Through impactful teaching, research and service, our campus constituents consistently make positive contributions that are impacting the world and our future.
To recognize, honor and promote outstanding members of our campus community, we bestow the annual Premier Awards on those who personify the character of the Capstone to the highest degree. Because the Premier Awards are the highest honors The University of Alabama confers, they are reserved for the most remarkable among our students, faculty, staff and other members of the UA community.
The University Awards Committee is now accepting nominations and applications for the Premier Awards. Please consider your students and colleagues who lead through service, exemplify academic excellence or are committed to equity and inclusion. You can encourage them to apply, or you may choose to personally nominate worthy students, faculty or staff.
The deadline for nominations is Nov. 1, 2023. The deadline for applications closes on Nov. 15, 2023. Students may only apply for one award, and nominators may complete the nomination form by visiting the application page.
